Carbon-6 (Yellow Dip) takes one of Triple-R Lights’ most iconic motorsport driving lamps and makes it even more versatile. Built for drivers operating in unpredictable, demanding environments, the addition of a yellow dipped beam improves visibility where white light can struggle—cutting through dust, fog, and harsh conditions. When maximum output is needed, the white high beam delivers uncompromising performance. Offered alongside the existing Carbon-6 range, Carbon-6 (Yellow Dip) lets drivers choose the setup best suited to their driving environment.
Available with Spot or Drive beam patterns, each lamp operates in three modes:
- High Beam – Boost Mode (100% output)
- Dip Beam (yellow light output, aimed lower)
- High Beam – Reduced Output (25% output)
The light can be easily programmed between Low Output and full Boost mode. When operated in Low Output (25%) mode, the lamp is optimized to minimize glare in situations where full power isn’t required. Programming is achieved by flashing the lamp on and off a pre-set number of times prior to use. Repeating the same sequence re-activates Boost mode when the lamp is used off-road or in conditions where maximum light output is required.
Each lamp also features an integrated backlight with selectable white or amber color options. The backlight color can be changed at any time after installation using a simple on/off flashing sequence. Repeating the same sequence switches between colors, allowing easy customization without additional wiring.
The lamp housing is constructed from high-strength, heat-resistant PC-ABS material, while thermal management is handled by a CAE-optimized, anodized aluminum heat sink. This combination ensures consistent LED performance even in extreme environments. Weighing just 400 g (0.88 lb), Carbon-6 delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, while advanced drive modulation protects internal electronics from thermal and environmental stress.
Like all Triple-R Lights products, Carbon-6 lamps are designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house in the UK with no compromises in materials or build quality. Each lamp also includes a black lens cover for added protection during daytime driving.
