When auxiliary forward-facing lighting is essential for a safer, more comfortable night driving experience — but mounting options on the front of your Kia EV9 (2024+) are limited — Triple-R Lights has the solution with our Hood Mount Kit. Engineered specifically for use with our Glide high-performance LED light bar, this system lets you configure your ideal lighting and wiring setup.
Designed with modern EVs in mind — where the absence of a traditional grille and the presence of front-facing cameras, sensors, and radar can make mounting auxiliary lights difficult — the Glide Hood Mount Kit delivers a clean, durable, and high-performance installation. Setup is quick and straightforward using precision-engineered mounting brackets made from high-strength, UV-resistant composite material. These brackets are securely bonded to the vehicle using automotive-grade 3M VHB tape, chosen for its proven strength, heat resistance, and ability to bond across multiple surfaces. With no need for rivets, screws, bolts, or welding, the kit is fully removable and leaves no marks behind — perfect for leased vehicles.
The lightweight Glide light bar features a curved design that perfectly complements the natural contour of the Kia EV9 (2024+) hood edge. Wiring is routed along the underside of the hood, supported by the included self-adhesive cable tie mounts for a clean, organized install. Available in Standard and Elite versions, with or without an integrated position light function, every Glide option delivers outstanding light output to match a range of needs and budgets. All options are compliant with DOT/SAE standards for on-road use (in low output mode only). Compatible wiring kits are also available.

When wiring the Glide LED lightbars direct to the high beams and the vehicle has Xenon or LED headlights as standard, it may not be possible to detect a 12V high beam signal. In these instances it will be necessary to complete the electrical installation using a CAN Interface, with our recommended solution being a CANNY Interface.
