The LR-850 is a proven favourite across passenger car, 4x4, LCV, and heavy truck applications, now enhanced with an integrated amber flashing beacon for increased safety and functionality.

The lamp incorporates two forward-facing amber warning patterns, delivering effective on-vehicle warning capability without compromising driving light performance. The amber beacon / warning light function is SAE/DOT compliant (W-1) and allows flash patterns to be selected and synchronised across multiple lamps during installation, or changed on demand using a momentary switch. Beacon functionality can be combined with an integrated backlight, configurable as white or amber via a simple wiring selection, or left disconnected for driving-light-only operation, enabling installations that remain highly visible in both daytime and night-time conditions.

Optimised for road use, the LR-850 delivers a focused spot beam pattern with excellent long-range performance and useful lateral spread. Producing 6,930 lumens and achieving 1 lux at 530 metres, the lamp provides a 28° horizontal spread, supporting confident high-speed driving. SAE/DOT compliance as a high-beam driving light applies in the low output mode only, enabled by Triple-R’s dual-output technology. The output mode can be selected during installation, while a flash-to-dim function allows the lamp to be switched between high and low output when required.

The colour temperature of the light, at 5000K, is carefully selected to maximise definition of any obstacles ahead, while ensuring a comfortable drive even over prolonged periods of time.
